so, I live in NYC, came here for acting a year ago, doing well with that whole deal, but was at a not so great restaurant in Times Square, got fired, long story that really was me sticking up for myself, and managment not supporting that. . .anyways.. . .

about a month after i moved, i auditioned for the Muppets, i didn't get the job, but i got offered to do pupetry and character work in WDW, which I would have siezed if I hadn't just spent a small fortune moving to NYC, wished that would have happend before i moved, so then i would have a dream come true job (kinda)

so, it's been a year in NYC, i'm now employed at the ESPN Zone, waiting tables, but that also makes me a CM, with all the benifits and bragging rights therein. I'm so pumped, i get crazy discounts at places, and the disney ticket deal is incredible, i'm so pumped.

I'm thinking that if acting doesn't hold steady in my life, perhaps i'll use this job as a way into the company, since i'll have a history, and keeping that in my mind, doing my best to make it a good history, so maybe there could be a career involved somehow.

for now though, still acting, but also a CM, in NYC, woot!:sohappy:

Didn't realize any Disney-brand employee was a CM. Nonetheless, congrats! I was just at the ESPN Zone in Manhattan for the NFL Draft in April and it was really cool (albeit expensive).

thanks you guys, i really appriciate the congrats, it's kinda weird how good it makes me feel, especially with how anti-corporate i used to be. . . I guess Disney is a different type of company

The good thing is that your file at ESPN is saved in the Disney database so if you ever apply at Disney itself, they'll have a record for you.
