Just returned yesterday. Great trip. But during the MNSSHP, a very large woman in a ECV came out of nowhere, going pretty fast for one of those vehicles, at least too fast for the crowded conditions, and rolled completely over my left foot and kept on going, even after I yelled an expletive and almost fell to the ground!! I don't even think she knew what she did? I yelled out an apology to everyone ELSE who turned around after my yelling out, and a nice cast member got a cup of ice. I now have a black and blue mark over my left instep, and I swear you can see the treadmarks. It cut short our night, but we had seen the first Boo to You parade, so what the heck. All week we did not need one fastpass, not even for Soarin, so if that is the worst that could happen, oh well. But the fact that she kept going really made me mad for about an hour!

The ECV were bad all week. We had several close calls. It's amazing that we take away a senior citizen's driver license, but they can still be allowed to operate an ECV.:hammer: Notice I didn't say "drive".:lookaroun

My family were also at EPCOT on the 28th. It was very HOT. High humidity, bright sun - I think a lot of people were drinking from the heat. However, that being said, by 7:00 p.m. there were many very intoxicated people stumbling around. As said previously, it was like being at a county fair or a drunk fest. I was really disappointed in the atmosphere - very un-EPCOT like. People swearing and running into each other. We left before 8:00, even though it was a late EMH night (and our last night at Disney). I felt bad that our last night had to end up the way it did. But, on the bright side - we had some great offerings at the kiosks around the world :slurp:, purchased a few F&W festival items to take home and the rest of our trip was great.

I've been to the F&W fest each of the last 5 years and it seems like the first Friday is always the worst. I don't know why. It's like all the idiots come out to see how blasted they can get. Last year, two couples came into the Universe of Energy (this is at about 2:00 p.m.) and you could see they were already drunk. One of the women started stumbling around and fell into my son, stepped on his foot and then fell onto the floor and just laid there laughing while her companions did too. They weren't youngsters - they were at least in their mid-thirties (old enough to know better). Anyways, they finally got her up and they didn't go on the attraction but stumbled out the door. And it seemed to get worse as the day wore on. Unfortunately, this year and last year, our vacation ended on the Sat. after so Friday was the only day we could enjoy the Festival. I enjoy a glass of wine or a few beers as I wander around so I'm not about to complain about alcohol, but people really need to have an idea of what they've consumed. EPCOT is not the type of place to be stumbling around drunk - they can do that at their local bar and the patrons probably would think it was funny. Sorry to carry on - just my 2 cents worth.
