ILL for resort guests

Hi

So, after a gap of 8 years, we will at long last return to WDW next year. Plenty of time to plan, and there have of course been many changes. One thing I can’t seem to find out about is the two free ILL’s for resort guests. Does anybody know if those are selected from the individual ILL options or those of Genie +?

Many thanks 😀

OP, are you maybe thinking of the two weekly "extra evening hours" for deluxe resort guests, at the MK and EPCOT (usually EPCOT on Monday and MK on Wednesday)?

As @Tuvalu said, the only onsite-resort-related "benefit" when it comes to G+ is that you can purchase G+ (or up to two individual lighting lane attractions, commonly known here as "ILLs") earlier in the day than offsite guests, which may be the only way to book some of the harder-to-get ones during high-crowd times of year. You'll still have to pay for all of it (each ILL and each day/park worth of G+ access), though, a la carte.

There is another benefit: If he stays at a deluxe resort, he can join VQ for GOTG and Tron at 6pm due to extra evening hours. Not sure whether he would have to be in the parks, like for the 1pm VQ though.

You don’t have to be in the park for 6 pm VQ for extra evening hours.
We’re staying at Poly next week. We’d like to take advantage of the extra after hours at the MK. Is there anything we need to do if we’re already in the park when regular closing time comes around? Do they scan your MB?

One person in your party will be scanned before you’re admitted to each attraction.

The 7am Resort Benefit for purchasing an ILL is not extended to groups. A member of a group booking must wait to purchase at 9am, and when during Spring Break, some dates had Tron and Guardians already gone. Such a joke.
