If you could only choose one ride and one show what would they be and why?

I would choose splash mountain as my ride because it has everything. Music, dark ride, and thrills. It's pure disney.

The show would be festival of the lion king. It's great from the live singers to the dancing, stunts and light show. Animatronics are great too. Plus it's in animal kingdom which is beautiful.

Totally agree with FOTLK. But I gotta go with Tower of Terror (but man, it was a tough call). Love the building, love the decor, love the Twilight Zone theme, love the souvies, love the CMs role playing, love heights and drops. But geez, what a toughie to limit it to just one ride.

I was going to go with ToT but there is just too much of my childhood wrapped up in SM. but I know what you mean about decor. I <3 the cobwebs and half empty coffee mugs!

I would probably pick Fantasmic, but I have not seen the Lion King yet. (I will in June though.) For rides, that is tough... I also love Splash. To me, it's very relaxing, also entertaining with a fun drop at the end. I have lot's of favorite rides.

FOTLK blew away our expectations! And funny that I haven't seen Fantasmic. We will in August!

It's a tie between Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain. I don't have a vote for a show since I don't have the patience to sit that long and have never watched one.

Ride is easy - Soarin'. Show is not so easy. Does a parade count as a show? I love the MSEP.

First let me say that the older I get the more nostalgic I have become. So, with that preface I will say that one of my favorite rides it Living with the Land. I guess it because it reminds me what EPCOT Center used to be. I loved going there when I was a child with my family. It reminds me of the great times we had. Now I am the parent and I only hope my children will have memories like that when they grow up.

Favorite show is Hoop Dee Doo for the same reason. We went to this every time we went to the World. I got to take my wife and kids last year and they also loved it. An instant family favorite I believe.

Definitely Space Mountain for me. The ride is great and I love the refurbished waiting area. Show is a tough one, but I think Fantasmic takes it.

Show: Finding Nemo at AK. I enjoy the songs, the props, the staging and the actors are phenomenal. Don't have anything bad to say about this show....

Ride: Splash Mountain. It got a lot of hate before its refurb, and I guess rightly so. But even in its diminished state, I enjoyed the story, the atmosphere, the songs, and the anticipation of the big plunge. Of course, there is the 'will I get wet/not get wet' on the ride which adds to the angst before the top.... All in all, one of my favorites and I would ride it again and again.

The Haunted Mansion because of its themeing and so many intricate backstories for the origins of the mansion and its inhabitants. it's just so fascinating!

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Review, it makes me laugh every single time.
