If you could change one thing about the current Seas Pavilion what would it be?

How fun would an underwater or submersible themed experience be.

Cheap, (not really a) joke answer there, I know.

1 thing I’d change is I would bring it’s theme back to undersea exploration. I’d want the entire pavilion adhere to that theme. I’d want people walking out not to think “well, that was a subpar aquarium”, but to dream about someday exploring the oceans to see and learn all it has to offer. I’d want the queue to set up the ride, the ride to introduce the theme of oceanic exploration, and the rest of the pavilion to tell one cohesive story reinforcing that theme.

If we are stuck with Nemo, that is ok, but it shouldn’t be a poor retelling of the first film without the drama of Nemo actually being lost. Find a way to still get people invested in traveling to an undersea base to study the ocean, just do it with Nemo. Don’t shoehorn Nemo in with absolutely 0 thought to how his ride fits in with the massive aquarium or the exhibits in the pavilion, make it all supporting a singular theme, and one that leaves you with some form of inspiration and/or dreams of what the oceans have to move our species forward.

That's really the final answer, surely? As it has ever been for this pavilion. It was never the greatest, so unlike half of WDW the easy answer isn't just 'restore it to its previous state'. It had its moments: "it rained..and it rained...and it rained", and the fantastic queue, and placemaking (the Seas took you somewhere!), and an ambition to convey magic and mystery, of the real world. But otherwise, it could do with a large rethink.

Nemo is insanity and diminishes a majestic pavilion into a playground for simpletons who won't listen to anything not presented by a cartoon or celeb. So removing that is a good start. From there, as above.

if I were to keep it IP because disney loves that I would do one of these options
. retheme nemo to a science lab who found out how to translate fish "language" into our language, the adventure with nemo is an example of their scientific discovery. everything else is their lab and specimen
.retheme nemo into alantis. make the aquarium dark ride into an actual dark ride involving alantis characters
.retheme nemo into moana. once again make the aquarium dark ride into an actual dark ride. more unsure how I'd retheme the actual aquarium to fit moana than I am with the other two, but it does kinda work because you know ocean.

I didn’t ask for it to revert to the old attraction, but the original theme I think is still relevant and could house a great attraction. New attraction, original theme. Just make sure it all ties together, supporting a single theme, and one that inspires people, not just inspires them to buy themed Nemo merch.

If the Mouse is going to treat the Pavilion as a typical Aquarium then I would like them to fully develop that idea and turn it into what was represented in Finding Dory that way we can all hear the soothing sounds of The Sigourney Weaver as she does voice overs for the exhibits. Also I would like to see the "show" where you went down the ramp into the circular viewing area when they talked about the sea life and programs they are working on. Hey Maybe Sigorney could help out and lend her voice to this too!

I'd bring back the Hydrolators and SeaBase Alpha. Nemo and friends can stay in there, but at least have the hydrolator transition between the "surface' and "undersea" areas.
The way it is now, you walk in through the beach queue....and then get onto the clamshell omnimover.

Ideally you should go through the beach queue, enter the research center queue, take they hydrolator 'down' to SeaBase and encounter Nemo.
