If you could change one thing about the current Seas Pavilion what would it be?

Somehow bring back the "suspension of disbelief" that you felt with the old hydrolator/sea base alpha theme.

This. Look, I knew I wasn't really going down deep into the earth when I visited the lab. But there was just a cool sense of actually descending and then ascending again at the end. There were times in the original's later years when they left two doors of the exiting hydrolator open, letting you see "outside" from inside the lab. Very bad show, breaking the illusion. I didn't really believe it, but I was glad the illusion was there.

Let the Dolphins out to somewhere with a lot more space. I’m surprised WDW haven’t come under more pressure particularly after Sea World getting hammered.
I realise an Orca in those conditions may be viewed as more extreme before somebody draws comparison! :)

The difference is that Disney has some rescue rehab in the past (as seaworld does but nobody seems to care) and they don't put the dolphins in shows...

That's a big difference as far as the orca backlash goes...it's making them perform like show poodles...that caused a lot of the hate.

Bottlenoses just don't get that kind of guttural response.

Barnum and bailey is gone too...and the elephant backlash had a lot to do with that. It seems
Size does matter.

When they take the edutainment out of Epcot for cartoons...it's always gonna be a negative.

They first kinda saw that at the figment redo...it was a great innocence/imagination experience before and a dumbed down set of parlor tricks after...

Everyone was tired of horizons at the time...but people miss it now.

And though this guardians thing might be cool and universe of energy is not...people will miss that too in time.

Epcot was built to stimulate your mind...not keep your preschoolers entertained...that's your job.

You’re probably right but rescue or not the environment they are in is tragic.

Despite Disney being Disney im surprised they haven’t come under more scrutiny but like you say them seem to get away with it

Those dolphin habitats are atrocious...they couldn't integrate them but they knew that back in 1986...and have never bothered to do anything to make a good one for them.

Times have changed...this management would have NEVER opened the seas the way Eisner did...with wells in the tank during the unveiling. Igers symposium suits just like money and have no imagination...

Those dolphins are held captive to sell tours...it's sad.

We thoroughly enjoyed talking to the CMs and playing trivia games.
