If you could bring back an old Disney attraction, what would it be?

I've missed the PeopleMover at Disneyland since they removed it. Whenever we would see the abandoned track in Tomorrowland, I would tell my kids what it used to be and how it was my favorite when I was little. So I was SUPER excited to take my kids on the MK version when I took them to WDW for the first time a few years ago.

They were like, "Dad, with all the cool rides here, THIS was your favorite?"

I was so disappointed I immediately ran to Sunshine Tree Terrace to drown my sorrows in a Dole Whip.

It's going to be on a lot of lists. It is a mistake to tear out the GMR and everybody sees it coming.

While yes I don't agree with tearing out GMR it almost has to be done because of the movies. Yes the movies nostagically connect with my parents but really don't strike many notes with anybody past Generation X. I've seen them all cause I love watching movies and am always looking for something to watch at 2 am. But the majority of guests haven't seen movies like Casablanca or Footlight Parade and these people are the future of the guests riding the ride. I feel like people in their teens or twentys might skip the ride in ten years when they take their kids cause they haven't seen these movies and their kids most definitely haven't save for some like Wizard of Oz.

But still, once it qualifies I want to bring back GMR.

Ooh, forgot one - the Original Soarin'. Yeah the new one is clearer/cleaner with the picture but unless you are in the center the distortion can be really bad. Plus the smells aren't as great and all the CGI (seriously the Taj Mahal is all CGI!!!) is just meh to me. I wish they could have done an improved version of the old or something *sigh

No, better yet, now that there are now three theaters, keep 2 with the new movie, and make the third the original film...

I was fortunate to visit Epcot shortly after it opened in the early 80s (I was 11 or 12) and again in the mid to late 80s and it remains my favorite park. It makes me sad that my children are not able to experience Horizons, World of Motion, the original Universe of Energy and the original Journey Into Imagination (or for that matter, the original Seas sans Nemo) except on YouTube. My 11 year old daughter will ride Space Ship Earth with me over and over again and absolutely loves everything about it. She would have also loved the other originals for the same reasons, great stories, great music, great show. You could ride them over and over and notice different things every time. They didn't quite give Future World enough time for the kids of the 80s to bring back their children to start the cycle of imagination and inspiration for another generation.......I think its popularity would have been reignited over time with some simple updating rather than abandonment of the vision and mission. But I digress. It does make me sad.

This is pretty cool; thanks for sharing the video. I had not heard of this attraction before. Where was it located?

I miss Robin Williams.

It was in Tomorrowland either where Laugh Floor is now or where Buzz is currently located. @marni1971? It was a great little attraction if not a bit-dated-- even from the onset. I saw it in 95. I think it's reliance on topical jokes and referencing the current year aged the attraction prematurely forcing it's early-ish closure. I seem to remember children being frightened somewhat by the AA too! That said I can't think of anyone that could have voiced the zany robot any better. Robin Williams made this attraction!

@marni1971 Do you have any info on the actress that voiced android Nine-Eye? It sounds sorta like Jodie Benson; voice of Weebo from Flubber.
