I do like Fantasmic, but would not really care if it went. I think WDW needs to start making some separations. MK should be the Classic Disney characters and movies. AK needs to have the expedition and wild movies: Pocahontas, Lion King, Tarzan, Avatar. Epcot needs the country specific themes. DHS needs to be the only place for the new acquisitions of Marvel and Star Wars. Pixar Place works well there too. Fantasmic can easily be replaced with a Star Wars theme. Indiana Jones could be replaced with Marvel.

DHS needs serious fixing and additions to thin the herds. There simply is not enough to do there to spread the crowds. With the available space, they can easily have as many attractions as MK.

I'm still trying to absorb the news that One Man's Dream is going. :(

Seriously, Disney?

I know we're getting off-topic now. But responding to the "mythical animals" section.. I have always personally believed that since Universal took The Lost Continent idea (Even Harry Potter's half-land takeover is still mythical technically), I believe they should have created a land themed to greek-creatures. I mean Uni has Poseidon's Fury... But Disney has Hercules. There are lots of cool and interesting looking animal-type creatures within that movie as well as others that weren't included within the movie. I don't think a theme park has created a land solely based on animals in greek culture yet.

Yes, that would be pretty awesome. A lot of Greek mythology creatures have made their way into a lot of popular games, so they're still in peoples' minds and don't really go out of style. Again, timeless, unlike Avatar, but at least Avatar had a nice looking world, so even though the movie was nothing short of awful, the themed area should at least look pretty nice (even if mythological and fantasy creatures are many times cooler).

Question: could the show be turned into a water type show like out at DLR? Also, they were reports about Disney using drones to replaced fireworks. Anyway they could revamp the show? Like a lot of people have said, it's a people eater and you need some night time entertainment.

Drones to replace fireworks?? I don't get it.

They definitely need night time entertainment. "Fantasmic" falls far below the standard IMHO.

I've only seen it twice and as great as I know majority of you think it is. I just didn't or don't care that much for it. Yeah the finale is cool but it's just not for me. I'd love to see something new come to studios or Hollywood adv or whatever it's to be called.

I feel the same. After I was dragged the 2nd time, I said, "please never again"
