Man, i did the CP last year..my roomate the disney freak too me there, man that Beverly was nasty! So then we always took other people there to gag...HAHAHA
Yeah, Coke will be the official drink of WDW unless Pepsi comes in with a larger than life offer, which I doubt because they keep coming out with crappy stuff like Blue...i mean come on did they really think that Blue could compete with Vanilla Coke? Vanilla Coke has at least been around in soda fountains and other places, that is why they made it. Blue is tasty, but not a competitor for Vanilla Coke.

I read somewhere in here about them losing money from this. They don't cuz they don't have normal Coke. if you want Coca Cola Classic then you're going to have to buy it. That's why they don't have any American Cokes in there.

As a side note, her'es a wee anecdote:

The floors in ISC are always sticky for obvious reasons. Soda dispensaries + general public (or Guests:lol: = Mess. Sticky, sticky, sticky floors. And the floors make your shoes sticky as well. So, what I do to combat the dissolved sugar and water brigades is this: First, I exit ISC. Immediately straight, dead ahead from the exit, even before you can "enter" Innoventions Plaza again, is a small water fountain. WEll, what you do is, with a partner, have the partner hold down the water fountain button, and with your hands, put them so that the water is going onto them. Constantly turn the water over into a "pile", or "pool", on the concrete ground. So now you have some water lying on the ground in a relatively pool-like fashion. Now, just take your shoes (with your feet still inside of them) and rub them inside that little pool. Voila! Instant clean feet, so you don't have to walk around WS feeling like there is gum stuck to your shoes!

Another helpful hint from

They also only give little amounts. Most people just taste some or all and go. They don't fill up bottles or drink cup fulls. So they really lose nothing. I think as a good gimmick though they should see the stuff in World Showcase for people to buy as an international thing.

I could see why someone would get that impression... "Why buy a $2.50 bottle of coke when we have Ice Station Cool?!" But does anyone here actually find any of that stuff thirst quenching? :lookaroun

Since I haven't been to ISC since it opened, I didn't realize that they only had the international flavors in there. When I went to Coke World in atlanta they had one room for Coke Classic, Diet Coke, Etc even had a dancing fountain effect to acctivate the despencers in that room each Despencer had it's own pedistal as part of the fountain effect. There was a second room with regular despencers you find at 7-eleven or white hen for the international flavors, even including BEVERLY. Its funny they had free coke and it seemed you could drink as much as you want, but no less that 20 feet from the entrance to the building a row of soda machines with 20 oz bottles for a $1.00.

Actually, I'd meet to bring up that they serve Beverly in Atlanta too ....

On my college bands board there was a thread about the worst drink and Beverly DID come up in the conversation!
