Are you SURE they no longer sell them? They seemed rather popular when I got one.

If I recall correctly, when it was announced they had gone from the Ice Cream shop it was confirmed that Sleepy Hollow (at the entrance to Liberty Square from The Hub) was still hand making them

I just remembered. I bought mine in the Main Street Bakery.

Man this has been floating around for months. They are there, they are gone, then they are back. I think it all has to do with, What season you are in and who you talk to at the ice cream shop.

Ah... I think we have found the problem. They were discountinued from the Ice Cream Parlor awhile ago. However, you can still get the vanilla ones (sadly, though, no double chocolate chip cookies anymore) next door at the Toll House Main St. Bakery. I also believe Sleepy Hollow has their version. This likely was obvious to some, but I wanted to clarify!

My grandmother showed me a great ice-cream sandwich you can make at home: get a half-gallon of vanilla ice cream in a box. Open up the side, cut off a slice and place it between two toasted square waffles. Mmmmmmmm. :slurp:
