Good Morning All.After looking thro all the parks restaurants last night, menus and all.I was struggling to find a decent TS restaurant at AK. With the new Beauty restaurant opening at MK I was wondering which park do you think is crying out for a new TS restaurant ?:)

The short answer is all of them. I have stated this before MK is perfect for a pirate themed restaurant in the old Veranda and a western/toy story themed in the Diamond Horseshoe. I would love to see a new pavillion & restaurant (Brazil/South American ) in the World Showcase, right now all that's available is the Paridisio (sic) 37 at DTD. DHS could use a new/better QS restaurant ala Cosmic Rays. DAK would be perfect for a T-REX in Dinoland. DTD has lots of room for some new designer chef to open up shop. How about The "Real Mad Hatters."

For Quick Service I say DHS. There are no good places there to eat. We always end up leaving and eating at our resort or a different park. But for Table Service I say AK. The only place there I like to go is Rainforest Cafe, but that restaurant has taken a back seat to T-Rex in DTD.

Epcot's food is great, both QS and TS. Sunshine Seasons is one of the best QS locations on property. MK has great QS. I always like going to Cosmic Ray's and Peco Bill's and getting the hot cheese and dip my fries in them. MK's TS is good, too, IMO.

MK Needs more TS. I think the old skyway station in TL would be a great spot. (if there is enough space). I would love to eat dinner while looking at the lights of TL. I can see why AK has limited TS since the place closes most of the time before the dinner hour.

Great posts on this thread! Love the T-Rex idea for AK; seems to be a natural. Epcot, relatively speaking, already has enough to choose from (not saying improvement is not needed, just not as bad as elsewhere in the world). MK could add another TS in Frontierland, DHS could use two more TS choices.

We are in the minority here, as we like Pizza Planet. Not sayin' it is anything close to gourmet, but we think it is decent. Also love Starring Rolls...too bad it can't be open for QS dinner.

I don't mind Pizza Planet, but it's always so busy as we go during more crowded times of the year. The entire room for ordering is usually at least 3/4 full. If we do eat at DHS we usually have an ADR or go to the food place by Star Tours, can't think of the name right now.

Never use Disney TS restaurants. Way too expensive for what you get normally. We usually just drive out in to ID/Orlando for table service.

After seeing WDWM's review, I will try BoG.. for lunch. :)

Ideally, I would love at least one TS in each land of MK for a full experience. I have examples/points of reference that may help with a visual.

Well, Main Street is covered. Just Tony's needs to keep conisistently good food. Love the Plaza, no complaints regarding the cheesesteak, so they have to keep it consistent, and it is a small place. Debatable. Larger, and it loses its charm. It is small and kind of tucked away, but I like it. Plus, Casey's and Crystal is right there so I will leave Main Street alone. Food is covered there, QS, but still food options. Also, if we keep walking straight the Castle is there serving TS.

Adventureland needs some work, though I love it. I think atmosphere wise it is the most immersive and beautiful of all the lands in MK. Now, a quick fix would be to revive Adventureland Veranda, but I don't think they will do that. But that is a nice space. Aladdin is staying. I love POC, JC, Tiki Birds, and that this land probably houses most of the original attractions and I'd like to keep it that way. So if they have no plans to add, add a restaurant. Ideally, blue sky, the Adventurer's Club would have been a good fit here. Maybe no liquor but food, but now that BOG opened a can of worms, how unrealistic is it that eventually, slowly, they are going to incorporate liquor into MK? But let's leave that topic alone because it can be heated. They could always bring Jekyll and Hyde from NYC into Adventureland, but alas, not sure they would. But some TS similar to Adventurer's Club, J and H, or Trader Sam's in DL would be great.

LS/Fl - I think covered for now. Pecos is popular, though a QS. We have the colonial sit down at Liberty Tree. What could be an option also is something like Jekyll and Hyde here too. Haunted house/monsters would fit with the HM ride.

FL - Covered. Between Pinocchio's QS and BOG, and Cinderella... Nothing needed here for now.

TL - This is the biggest disappointment for me. The ideas and imagineering that could be done with a space theme. And they have no TS just like Adventureland.

Though, I still have an idea here that I had from the 1990's. I even took a shot asking about it.

I got shot down.

In NYC in, I believe, the 1990's, Mars 2112 opened. It is a restaurant themed to outer space. I haven't been there in awhile, so I think it is still open. You never know in NY. It or something like it would be a great fit for TL and a help. I asked a server about opening in WDW and how great it would be. The server cheekily replied. "They wish..." ( "they" meaning TDO.) If you have never been there look up pix and menus. Heavy space theme.

Now if I was in the restaurant business. My blue sky idea. TL gets a reverse Sci-Fi. You sit in space vehicles. For some reason the Jetsons come to mind. A space drive-in. The space decor could be imaginative and ideas endless.

This MK post is long. I have to think about DHS and AK.

Personally I think MK and DAK could both use another TS option!
If Magic Kingdom would reopen Adventureland Veranda as maybe a small CS with a breakfast option it would at least spread out the crowds a bit and turn Diamond Horseshoe into a TS southern style restaurant.
As for Animal Kingdom I feel each land should at least have one TS option so it looks like Dinoland USA would be the next best area for said restaurant.
