A VERY reliable universal executive told me it was canceled because too much information was leaked out on the Internet from a man named lance hart. :fork:

But this information is Confirmed that a Mission Space type of ride will becoming to Kennedy Space Center in 2006 and you can quote me on it.

And you heard right....but I still wonder if they would have canceled the plans since the movie did "bomb" and wasn't well receieved by critics....

Yep, everybody is blaming Lance for the loss of Van Helsing, but I don't think it's entirely warranted. If they really wanted the attraction, they would have went ahead and built it.
