Hi there to my friends at WDWMagic

I have some great news and I'm sharing it with everyone, because I'm just giddy with excitement and although it's a little self-indulgent, I'm just really excited...

...I was offered a job today (woo hoo!)!!

A little background - I have been working only per diem and freelance for around two years while I worked on my master's degree in public relations. I applied to full time PR jobs along the way, but I was usually not qualified enough compared to other candidates with more experience, which was so frustrating. I graduated in May, and the jobs here locally in Buffalo are few and far between, especially in my field. This summer has been lean, to say the least.

I've been applying to literally any job I can, not just jobs in PR, because my poor parents have been lending me money to help pay my bills (they're physically disabled and can't work themselves), and it's been nearly impossible to find anything here. I was also considering returning to school to become certified to teach English, as my two main passions are writing/communications and literature (and my BA is in English), but finances as they are, I realized it was more important now to get a full time job and become financially stable.

What's unbelievable is that the job I was offered is to be a PR coordinator for a school, marrying my two passions! I am just extremely excited not only to have a job, but a job that I am passionate about. I am so excited!! Finally, all the pieces are falling into place.

I'll be formally offered the job in person tomorrow, where I'll find out all the details, but suffice it to say, I'm definitely saying 'Yes'.

Now, instead of penciling in my WDW trip next year, I can start making ressies (yes, let's tie it back to WDW :D)!

Anyway, I'm sorry if this is an obnoxious post, I don't mean it to be, but I'm just so excited, and I wanted to share it with the community here at WDWMagic :)
