here is a idea. make the trams go around the lots, maybe up and down a small hill, call them coasters and put them on genie.
At DLR, the trams took 10 months after park open to return. They increased the daily parking rate BEFORE bringing the trams back so we paid extra to get to make that walk. And the walk was 3/4 mile each way, adding 1 1/2 miles of unnecessary walking total. As someone who has a limit nowadays to how much they can walk, losing 1 1/2 miles of park walking to tram route walking meant less parts of the parks I could experience. It was BRUTAL making that walk at both beginning and end of the day. I complained about it in every survey I got from them until they brought the trams back. The fact Disneyland didn't have their trams operational for several months for absolutely no reason after reopening was just embarrassing. Then the mocking of the customers by having them walk the half mile down the asphalt tram route to the parks.
Exhibit A that they absolutely don't care and think their customers are suckers for putting up with it.

As someone who used to be able to walk much more in a day, I never understood the need for trams (or the disability shuttle) until I actually needed them. It's difficult to comprehend limits until you (or someone you know) have them.
And I got one (masked sadly so you don't see much of his face but his hair looked fabulous). But Josh takes selfies!!!!
Next time you see him tell him "less selfies, more customer service please"And I got one (masked sadly so you don't see much of his face but his hair looked fabulous).
I still was happier for the trams.
It's been almost a year since I saw him in the park, but yeah... I'd have a list of things I'd like to tell him if I saw him again... lolNext time you see him tell him "less selfies, more customer service please"
1) Genie sucks and you should be embarrassed to charge families per ride. Please immediately resign in disgrace. It's been almost a year since I saw him in the park, but yeah... I'd have a list of things I'd like to tell him if I saw him again... lol

Counterpoint. Genie+ is awesome and I love it. The less people in line for me to make my trip more enjoyable for me, the better. This place gets so triggered over 15 dollars. They charged people per ride when it first opened. This isn’t different and there is a free ride option. No one forces anyone to pay. Using this system makes my trip so much more enjoyable.1) Genie sucks and you should be embarrassed to charge families per ride. Please immediately resign in disgrace.
Makes my trip enjoyable. I’ll gladly pay for me to have a better trip.- said Bob.
The difference is Disney didn't charge $109+ to enter the park. The $3.50 that Disney charged in 1971 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $24.85 today. They charged people per ride when it first opened. This isn’t different and there is a free ride option. Bob says thank you.Makes my trip enjoyable. I’ll gladly pay for me to have a better trip.
And I thank him for making my trip more enjoyable. If I’m happy that’s all that matters to me.Bob says thank you.
So don’t buy genie then. There is literally a free option. No one is forcing anyone to pay for genie. The difference is Disney didn't charge $109+ to enter the park. The $3.50 that Disney charged in 1971 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $24.85 today.
There was a thread not posted in a while that praised the promotion of Josh D in his rise up the food chain. How times have changed on some viewpoint of him now. It's been almost a year since I saw him in the park, but yeah... I'd have a list of things I'd like to tell him if I saw him again... lol
Have you used it? Just asking because it’s a fairly new system and many are making assumptions on how well it works that aren’t particularly accurate.Counterpoint. Genie+ is awesome and I love it. Yes. I’ve used a few times. I love it. My waits were super low for the rides I selected. It’s a great service in my opinion. I loathe waiting for anything so this works for me and makes my trips so much better.Have you used it?
