Pumbas Nakasak
Heading for the great escape.
what were you in for?
OK guys. I am insane. Someone made a comment that I've "probably been at Disney like a year of my life" when I was complaining that I miss Disney after just getting back a couple weeks ago. So I said, "that's ridiculous...it hasn't been that long" but it got me thinking.
Looking back at all my trips, I've totaled up around 60 trips to Disney (including a few trips to Tokyo, DL, Paris) during my lifetime (around 30 years).
I went back to some old family albums and verified we went 2-3 times/year most of my childhood and I've gone up to 5 times in a year as an adult in recent years. I came up with around 400 days. Help!
I think I am actually insane, but I know some of you are even crazier than me (or I hope). How many days do you estimate you've gone?
Wait a moment and I'll total up the rough estimate of $$ spent there over my life.
Sidenote: In 2014, I think I made 5 trips and visited DisneySea, Tokyo Disney, Disneyland, and Disney World twice.
In 2014, I spent something like $22,000 at Disney Parks.
I'm ready to go back right now, honestly...and I wouldn't even hesitate. I have no doubt your stress is significantly reduced, reducing your health issues. Not insane, but probably addicted. And it is easy to see how. Stress levels decrease. Endorphins levels increase. Simple formula really. Add to that some have deep psycologocal ties (fond childhood memories maybe) and you have a recipe to keep pushing the button.
I have some hilarious health issues that decrease in intensity by about 70% after a week in the parks. Yea, I like to go back.
