Its not that I dont care to translate it. Its not the norm to post things here in a language other than english. More people would be likely to respond if it was written in english. If they are reading and responding to the original question then they have mastered the english language, so it shouldnt be a burden for them to respond in engligh
I agree and can personally sum it up like this. First consideration... this board is 99.9999% in the English language. Originates from England as well. Second... if a person is posting on this board, they obviously can speak or understand the English language. Three... I enjoy being on this Board, but in the end it is just a place to post opinions about Disney and occasionally whatever way that conversation happens to stay on track or wander off. Forth... Being something that is fun, I didn't come here to work because I just have more important things to do than to put extra effort into satisfying someone else's ego that is trying to be clever by forcing me to care enough to spend more of what little time I have left to do so. And fifth... I am far to deep into the Dontcareitius Virus to snap out of it and be that involved. At my age I doubt it is even curable.🫣🥱

For a company that’s worth hundreds of billions why is it so hard for them to invest in a airport to theme park mono rail and likewise finish the last two parks with mono rails?

I get the argument, how would Disney make money? Charge 5 dollar per family and there you go, it paid for itself within 10 years.

Likewise have Disney pay for a network of trains within Orlando , call it the Disney transport authority, there you go - free advertising and revenue.

Just seems dumb that it’s almost 2025 and there is still no cohesion with their public transport authority.
I don't think you have a clue as to how expensive it is to install light rail which is what you would be doing for a monorail from the airport to Disney. You would be spending more than a billion dollars just for the line from the airport to Disney. Not everyone that goes to Disney even arrives at the airport, a lot of people drive... but assume pre pandemic crowds and then assume half those people fly in.... You've got 10 million people a year, your 5 dollars in and 5 dollars out is 100 million and that assume you charge per person.... but Disney's cost of capital is more than 9%... so assume 9%, that means Disney needs to make at least 90 million a year just to cover that cost... they make 100 so they only get 10 million to apply to the billion to build the monorail... So in 100 years they would recover the cost of a airport to Disney line... of course a monorail that you hoped to keep for 100 years would require lot of maintenance during that 100 years so the reality is you would never ever recover the cost of the monorail.... In short... the numbers don't work. You will never see a monorail from the airport to Disney if Disney is the one paying for it.

These are 2 very different questions.

Best Airport transportation will probably always be Magical Express as the best option - if you built a monorail or train guests still need to get to the resort. The major benefit would be no traffic on the monorail or railroad line - and the Interstate isn’t getting any better.

On property monorails are a different story - completing and upgrading the system would be lovely. Hit all the parks and Disney Springs. Then it’s just a money thing. $$$
