Was just telling my wife today about a guy at work who questioned why we keep going to WDW instead of "other" places. Sure, I'm all for visiting other places some day. But luckily my wife and kids share my love for WDW, and when we decide we are going to spend our hard earned money on a family vacation, you're darn right we are all going to go to the place that makes US all the happiest! :)

In the immortal words of one Christopher Walken, "Guess what? I got a FEVER, and the only prescription is more WDW!!" Okay, so I might have fudged that quote up a wee bit (accidentally on purpose, of course)! ;)

A 'friend' of mine posted a link on Facebook to a Disney wedding where the couple dressed up like Ariel and Prince Eric- she and her sister continued to have a conversation about how odd it is for adults to like Disney, and how there must be some 'psychological issues there.' Guess who's getting blocked from my post updates when I'm in the World this weekend?!?!?

Here's her post:

  • I know agreed. There is a lot of psychology around it. I was thinking maybe Jasmine for myself.

It's more than possible that I have misread this but it sounds to me like they are trying to be sarcastic because they agree with it. First they say they don't understand the obsession and then state what they would be. Contradiction in terms usually means that they agree and are just trying to be cute about it.

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
So my sister got into my car yesterday, and as soon as I switched on the ignition my Disney cd that me and my son listen to on the way to school started playing. The Tikki Room song was on. My sister looked truly confused (she is NO Disney fan) and asked me what the hell I was listening to. I dreaded her response when I said it was a cd with music from the rides at Disney! She was not a bit amused, fully annoyed, and convinced I had lost my mind. I had to wonder if I had crossed over from a Disney fan to a Disney fanatic who may be overly obsessed. Anyone else ever have a moment where they feel they have to question their sanity over their love for Disney? :p

Yess definately! Especially when I'm playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and spent an entire 3 weeks with almost no sleep trying to create my own disney park finding original park music on youtube to put in it and try to design it exactly like the parks.. and then i show it to my friends and they're like.... "so... i guess you don't play COD?"

I'd like to think so, but I know her well (and really do love her) and she just doesn't 'get' the Disney thing. BUT, if she were going to pick a princess, she'd be Sleeping Beauty (is what I think she's saying.) But I know if she went to the parks with me for a weekend, she'd have a blast and be converted... :D

Well- it's 9 months from the last trip in Sept. 2012! We're going in June 2013!;) It just so happens that's when my hubby's job gave him his vacation time!:D Took some convincing, but we're going!:) No one understands unless they are Disney lovers like us! I don't even tell anyone at work anymore! Most are a bunch of "haters"!

Good Morning..Sunday..11.05am.. I left the real world way back in 2004. I do sometimes pop my head in too see how the world is doing..But I get so depressed I quickly return inside my safe and magic bubble.I feel sorry for those who are still searching for a better place, because I've found mine, and I'am as happy as can be..Non believers ain't welcome inside my magic bubble..;)

Keep Moving Forward
I worked in child care for 15 years and those kids were all used as an excuse to grow my Disney music collection. Of course I need 10 different versions of the same song. I play these in my classroom, don't want to get bored. Now I use my own kids as an excuse.

Yeah I've got a few Disney songs on my Ipod and people are like .... uh ok, what are you listening to? but I just ignore them!

I totally agree with that Universe of Energy song. That is cheesy!
