Well I made my reservation for my august trip.

It was a tough choice...but I decided to return to the Polynesian Resort.

Thanks to everyone who replied to my Where to Stay thread, it really helped in making my decision.

Any pointers for the Poly? We are doing the character breakfast there on our last day.

To get a lagoon view room, you have to book a lagoon view room. Sometimes you get an upgrade, but usually (99% of the time) you are given the room you purchased. So if you booked a garden view room you will most likely not have a lagoon view room.

I am glad you are getting to go, you will have a great time... I have to wait until the end of the year, but I will get to meet some nice people from these boards, so I can wait...it will be worth it.

What is wrong with that topic??:veryconfu

4 days 21 hours and 28 minutes...:sohappy:

Well...

Looks like things will be changing. We are most likely going to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We were thinking and we decided that we would enjoy trying a new resort.

Pam

Well it is a little cheaper and I have been talking to a lot of people who have said it is really nice. Besides for that, there isn't much else that made me change my mind besides being a new experience and new resort. I can always go back to the Polynesian next time...so I might as well give the new resort a try.

Well we look at everything and it is really tough.

The Polynesian has the best transportation, has huge rooms, and has a marina (a favorite of our family).

The AKL has the wonderful theming though.

So we will have to decide which one to go to. I think it is leaning closer to the Polynesian though, but I probably won't know for a little while.
