the other time was when me and mom were at home and we brought Blackie in the house. she had gotten under the kitchen table, so i decided i'd crawl under there to try to get her out. well, she didn't like the idea of moving too much, apparently, cuz she whipped out her claws and nailed me right in the lower lip...worst part was that her nail kinda caught and stuck in my lip until mom helped her get it out (it's been a LONG time, but i'm pretty sure that's how it went!)
but my cat's the exact same way, Maria! Abbey is one of the most loving cats we have, but when we have strangers around, she becomes very protective and aggresive! no scratches yet, mainly just hisses and growls, but we can never be too careful! and it's not all strangers...usually ones with distinct smells, like smoke or other animals (or loud guests)...course, that's just Abbey. my other cats usually do fine around strangers...they get as far away from strangers as possible, but no aggresiveness. that's what i love about cats! so many different personalities! but they can be so tempermental sometimes!
