aww i hate to hear that...how old was it?
i lost my dog of 16/17 years just this past Oct. being 17 myself, it was really hard for me (as well as the rest of my family) but i had never known life without her until then...it's gotten eaiser, but sometimes it's still hard to think of her. small thread drift (being that she's not a cat) but here she is...my sweet Mandy (lookin kinda gy )

She was hit by a car. As a matter of fact, it was a week ago today. She was 14 years old, so like you, I dont have many memories without her (being 18 years old myself). I never thought I'd take it as hard as I did, actually. Mandy is adorable!

I too LOVE CATS!!! I one have one right now...looks like the sister of Fantasia Boi's gray one in the picture. I really enjoyed looking at the pet pictures this am. These all look pretty young. Not sure how old my cat is as I got her as a stray but they can live long, long lives. A few years back I had 9 cats and 2 dogs. Within a 2 year period .I am down to 1 cat and 1 dog (not one of the original 2 a new one) My oldest was 23 years old when I lost him. He was the best. Then 2 -18 year olds, 3-16 year olds, 2-14 year olds and another stray(?) The 2 dogs were 17 and 15 when I lost them. Losing a pet is a VERY difficult thing. So sorry to hear about Mandy and the lose or your cat MicBat. I think that cats are truly the best. I love their independence and their little cat attitudes. Leaving in 2 DAYS!!!!
