I love love love me so POC!!! The first 2 trips we made the ride was having technical problems every time we tried to check it out. Growing up I watch the Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday night and never dreamed I would ever be able to go there. As an adult I have been a season pass holder for 2 years now and moved to Clermont FL as Disney is my krypotonite. My kids have been going since they called it "Dingy World" and POC is a favorite of everyone in the family. My husband came home from Iraq in 2003 and I told him we were going to Disney, the look on his face was priceless, he said, "can we go there?" and I was like h-e-double-hockey-sticks yeah
! We rode POC for the first time on our third trip and now we go everytime we hit Magic Kingdom. The only thing I don't like about it is when my fellow riders take flash pictures. I try to remind myself of how I felt my first time on POC and I forgive them all, LOL!

To this day, POTC still remains my all-time favorite attraction on Disney soil. No high-tech thrill ride out there can top the ambience, detail, mood, & story behind this classic. It certainly is a pirate's life for me!

Not to mention the ride vehicle makes sense, as opposed to "oh hey here's a caterpillar/elevator with seats in it, how convenient!"

I like the part where the pirates are in the scenes. It seems very authentic.
Let's see...that would be...in the beginning and through the whole ride!
