I like the Pirates Ride...

what ride has pirates in them, ive never seen one of them. Does anyone also know if there are any good pirate movies where the lead pirate wears eye liner, ive never seen one of those either.

yep...I have to go over the bridge into AventureLand first...right past that goofy ride "Talking, singing Birds from the Amazon" or something like that...right to the Pirates Ride..

When I saw that POTC was going to be down in June, I almost had a heart attack. Luckily the refurb doesn't start until the bitter (and I mean bitter) end of our trip. Otherwise, we would have cancelled. We haven't been since March 2011, and wouldn't want to go if this or Haunted Mansion were down. That's how much my family loves this ride!

Speaking of classic, I miss when the pirates used to chase the women, and then in the last scene they flipped it. I guess in an effort to be more PC, now only the chickens really chase each other, and apparently it is OK for a "larger" woman to chase a pirate and beat him on the head with the broom. Oh, and auctioning off women is apparently also still acceptable. Strike yer colors, you brazen wench!
