Excluding the obvious ( rides/attractions) what are some of the things you just LOVE about being in Disney World? Her are some of our top Loves about Disney

Just love how when you are there, that there's this huge seperation between reality of home(work/stresses) and the fun, excitement and happiness of Disney.

The smells...everywhere you go there are aromas ,smells that just lull you into happy relaxing state.

The feeling of accomplishment knowing that your year of planning, saving, and anticipation is here and now its time to enjoy!

The easiness of getting around without having to worry bout driving

Even with whats going on in the world , its the sense you get that you are safe....away from the bad that is out there. Now, that might not be reality BUT its the sense you get.

Yes, I know what you mean. I think all those things you mention are the reasons I keep going back. I've ridden the Tower and the Mansion and seen Philharmagic dozens of times. But that doesn't matter once I step foot on Main Street and look at that Castle. Once I feel the feelings of kindliness and childlike joy and leave-your-troubles-behind. The World still has those qualities, despite its issues. Thank you for reminding me. :)

Agreed. What makes Disney World so special is that it's not a particular ride, or character or park but it's everything. The whole environment makes you want to be there. And I've always said just being there is the best feeling of all. I mean, I know I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but WDW when it comes to vacation spots!

It's childlike, no matter what age you are as soon as you step on to Mainstreet USA, infact as soon as you drive on to property you become a 5 year old.
I argue constantly with my sisters at home, as soon as we're on property we're like the Brady bunch lol, it brings people together to have fun.
Roll on January until I go 'home'

I agree, agree, agree with all of you!! I’ve been lucky enough to visit WDW several times.
Each trip brings back fond memories and knowing new ones are evolving.

From the moment you pass under the Walt Disney World archway until the moment you leave, it's all Disney all the time. :)
I know I'll never come home disappointed. Theres something to do from the moment I get out of bed in the morning til I drop into bed at night. All the little details that are built into each park to discover. There's something to please everyones needs. The beautiful landscaping, architecture, scenery. The friendly, helpful CM's.

Like most people have said I just love being there, feeling the magic. I'm past the point that I "need" to ride everything every trip, if I miss something I'll probably get it next time. My last trip I came in on ME about 3 hours before anyone else in my group. I took my time and walked around the hotel shops, over to the Boardwalk shops, did a little pin trading and rode the boat round trip from Epcot to HS and back. Love how no matter where you go there is always music playing. I was in my happy place.

The feeling of freedom and innocence. Its a feeling that I think everyone should experience once in their lives. We have thought many times about trying to start a charitable foundation for taking underprivileged children, but the legal issues that arise nowadays would make it such a risk to do so. We haven't given up yet, but it is going to be a difficult thing to do.

I love watching the families - the happy faces, the wow factor, the light heartedness of a person with a Mickey balloon, Dads carrying a sleeping little one, grandparents holding the hand of a toddler enjoying the family time, moms wiping chocolate ice cream faces clean..... its all good.
