Congrats! We honeymooned at WDW and we had the time of our lives. I can only imagine how great a wedding there will be.

I would have offered you Toad Hall for the reception but I traded it to some bear in exchange for a motorized honey pot and now I can't get it back.

Congratulations! You're probably planning to use the wedding pavilion at the GF, but I just thought I'd let you know that when I stayed at the Yacht Club I saw lots of wedding ceremonies outdoors next to the water under their gazebo-- and it was really beautiful. It's also a very pretty hotel to have a reception.

Another fun idea: a relative of mine had their wedding at WDW (in the pavilion and it was really ncie!) and the night before the wedding they had a rehearsal dinner/party for everyone who'd traveled to get there and was staying overnight. They had a barbecue on the beach with country music and dancing and everyone had a great time. The food wasn't expensive (hot dogs, burgers, chicken) but the venue was terrific and so was the music. Just a thought! I'm sure the Disney planners think of everything!

LOL! I hadn´t thought of that! :lol: I could plan a trip for the ocassion too!

I attended a wedding at the Wedding Pavillion, of two of my friends who met when we arrived to Orlando, and got married the year after while we were still working there. It was very sweet! They had "The Promise" from Illuminations RoE as their wedding song at the Chapel, and everyone of us was crying! It was very emotional and amazing to see that they were getting married. She was from Wales and he was from Illinois. The reception was at the Poly with a nice lunch.
