What's your favorite? If you can choose!

You've never seen FANTASMIC!!!
I think it's THE best night show at the parks!! Everytime I went to MGM I missed it. But I saw it for the first time last summer! And it was one of the greatest night shows (shows period) at Disney World. I was so sorry I missed it all those times before!
But if you want to get a good seat, get there at least an hour early. If you wait until 15 minutes before the show starts you'll be standing in the back. And don't sit too close to the front if you don't want to get wet. Best seat? right in front of the mountain, in the middle. I don't want to go into detail and ruin it for you. But, at the end, all of the good Disney characters are on the boat (just like the snowglobe)! :sohappy: :sohappy:

PS If you fear you may get bored during that hour, bring along a snack, or do the very popular wave (that continues for about 30 minutes:rolleyes: .

Oh I totally forgot,
My favorite globes are the Beauty and the Beast Hourglass Globe (I missed out on buying it
:brick: ). And the one I recently purchased, the waltzing princesses in front of the castle, with Belle and Beast in the globe.

Have you seen the Cinderella's Surprise Celebration in front of the castle at the MK? The snowglobe I bought was just like the waltzing part of the Surpirse Celebration. That shows the Disney Store gets major ideas for snowglobes from actual events at the parks.

I totally agree with FairytaleFreak--Fantasmic is awesome. Get there at least an hour early. We've gotten there 45 minutes early before and not gotten in. Last time we brought a deck of cards and time flew really quickly.

As for my favorite snowglobe it's so hard to choose! My current favorite is probably the one I just bought in Disney a few weeks ago--it has the Fab five in the globe looking all touristy, Buzz in a Space Ranger Spin ride car on the top of the globe, tons of different Disney characters around the base, including Chip and Dale in a smaller globe, and a monorail that rotates around the base when you wind it up. It is very cool and I just couldn't pass it up--much to my husband's dismay. :)

FairyTale Freak...they still sell that Beauty and the Beast Hourglass Snowglobe at Disney World! You may want to give them a call and they'll be happy to send you one! You may also want to try eBay...I have an extra one I'll probably be listing on there soon. My name on there is glide22.

By the way, I saw Fantasmic! I got there -- get this -- 5 minutes before the show started and the place was only about half full! It poured (I mean the rain was going sideways!) from about 4-6pm. Then it cleared up, yet most people left the park! It was a good show...but I'm a villians fan and would like to have seen them portrayed a little better....

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: DISNEYSTORE.COM HAS A BUNCH OF THE SNOWGLOBES $20 OFF TODAY! YOU CAN USE THE COUPON CODE "NEMO" TO GET AN ADDITIONAL 10% OFF. YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED USER AND LOGGED IN TO USE IT. YOU ALSO GET $25 DIGITAL DOLLARS WITH A $50 PURCHASE GOOD TOWARD A PURCHASE OF $50 OR MORE IN THAT YOU MUST USE IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO!

The Disney Store in the mall has the same deal for Mother's Day--$20 off all snowglobes and $25 in Donald Dollars for every $50 purchase to be used on a future purchase of $50 or more next week.

I think I wanna cry!!
I could've waited on my waltzing princesses snowglobe!! I could've saved $20 !!! Oh well, I win some and lose some.

Wow Fantasmic only half full? Was WDW very busy? When I went it was during the middle of July. It was raining and lightning and it was over halfway full. Luckily, they ended up canceling the show that day. For who wants to sit on metal bleachers when it's lightning?! But I went to fantasmic the next day. :sohappy:
So you're into villains too! It would have been nice if they had more villains characters (in addition to the villains reflected in the water mist).

My father bought me for christmas a Bambi snowglobe that was 1/2 off. While I was cleaning one day, I noticed a crack in the glass... My mother called Disney store, and they said they dont have any to exchange, but when I went to DW last week, they were all over the place!

Nightmare Before Christmas Anniversary Globe

I just wanted to let all the snowglobe collectors out there know about the brand new Nightmare Before Christmas 10th Anniversary Snowglobe. If you collect snowglobes or are a NBC fan, you MUST get this one! It's a bit pricey at $128, but it is well worth it. It's one of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen! NBC globes are very popular and I don't expect it to be available too long! I received mine today...I have 50+ snowglobes and this new one is one of my very favorites already!
