I Just Booked Air - I Guess this trip is OFFICIAL!!!

Some of you have probably heard me gripe about airfare out of Houston. It's not a great fare, but w/Southwest's fall sale, prices dropped about $100pp...so I took it. I have a CC rewards voucher that should drop the total price another $115. Until this, DH was also on the fence about joining us...but I cornered him in the bathroom and made him decide then and there. Hey, he's had close to 5 months to make this decision.

The good news...we are scheduled to arrive and depart at decent times...so, we should be able to have some quality WDW time on both of those days.

I guess I'll start a PTR soon to really make it feel official.

Hobby is one of the reasons I really dislike flying Southwest. Still, the price and the whole no baggage fees makes it the logical choice. It's also a much shorter drive from home.

We are scheduled to land at 11:45a. This is around the time we flew in back in 2010, so if things go in a similar manner...I anticipate arrivng at WL around 1pm. Yeah...I'm already trying to figure out the details of the reveal morning. I think I'm going to have to tell a few tall tales to make it work.

Well when you get closer to figuring out where you will be after you check in and get scheduled let me know. This personal shopper is really reasonable. She could put together some cute bags for your reveal morning.

I thought about that, but I'm afraid they'll linger too long checking out the contents. With the timing of this flight, we'll be getting up and leaving the house like we would on a school/work day. I plan on swapping out their uniforms for jeans and Mickey Halloween tees after they fall asleep. So, I was thinking the change in attire would not only work as the surprise reveal, but help get them in gear to get ready quickly and get out the door. The only tough point- the dog. I will need to take her to boarding the day before...so I may need to fib and tell them Daddy & Mommy will be going away for the weekend, while they stay w/my MIL.
