I have some crazy ambitions

So, our trip is finally almost here in just 30 Days!!! As you can imagine, I am so unbelievably excited. We just paid off our final deposit and I made a trip to the Disney Store today to buy some gift cards for souvenirs.
However, there's something I've been planning on doing for a while now but it seems I might need a little assistance from you all to make it happen!
Our last trip to Disney was three years ago for my Sweet 16, and when we went, my parents were absolutely amazing and incredibly sneaky and managed to keep the surprise birthday celebration in our hotel room a secret from me until I actually walked into our room to see it. Now we're finally going back and I'd like to do something to thank my mom especially, because convincing her to go on this trip over a year ago was extremely difficult, but now she's actually showing a lot of excitement towards going and has joined in on the countdown with me.
There's only a slight issue with my idea of surprising her. I went on the Disney Florists website to see what went into the pricing and planning to do an in room birthday celebration or even just order a nice bouquet for her in the room. It's a lot of money, and I'd like to pay for any costs myself, as my parents already have invested WAY too much money into this trip, lol! I also looked into a spa package and those are also a little out of budget for myself.
So being the practically broke teenager I am, I was hoping you guys would be able to give me some ideas on how I can thank my mom or possibly surprise her while we're in Disney World! I already have all of our dining reservations set, but if you have any other ideas it would be much appreciated! Thank you :D

I took my mom to tea at the Grand Floridian. It was an incredible experience and my mom was moved to tears. We took a break from the parks one afternoon and went to have tea. What ever you decide on, it's going to be lovely! You are so sweet for wanting to surprise her!!

no problem :) Below I copy and pasted the info for it off the Disney website... you don't need reservations but maybe you should call to see if you can coordinate a time with your sched :)

Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides
Take in a beautiful scenic landscape on a timeless journey. Read More
Take in a beautiful scenic landscape on a timeless journey. Select from 2 routes: Ride through the lush pine and cypress trees of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, or travel along the charming pathways of Port Orleans — Riverside and the banks of the Sassagoula River.

Carriages fit up to 4 adults (or 2 adults and 3 small children). Rides through Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground depart from the main entrance of Crockett’s Tavern. For Disney's Port Orleans — Riverside rides, please check in at Riverside Levee Marina.

Each horse-drawn carriage rides cost $45 and trots along for 25 minutes. Reservations are recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-PLAY, or (407) 939-7529. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent of guardian permission to call

Thank you so much for all of your help! I may or may not have accidentally hinted at the idea of trying something different at one of the resorts during dinner tonight and my mom perked up, so I definitely think we may try this!

As you mentioned a spa treatment...look into local deals where you live. Groupon usually has tons of spa/massage deals. I would surprise with a before trip spa/message.

Yes, thank you!!! We try to do mother/daughter spa days every couple of months so I think doing one the day before we leave would be the perfect thing to calm her anxiety before the trip :D

Thank you so much!!! I actually wanted to do this so badly because we have an amazing little tea house right by my house that my mom and I have been going to since I was a baby. Unfortunately, I couldn't get us any reservations for the only two days we really had a chance to take a break :( But I'm going to keep trying because it sounds so amazing!

Keep trying! Things open up the closer you get. I'm not sure where you are staying but ask the concierge if they can help too! :) Good luck!!!!

You said your Mom was starting to get excited for the trip so maybe a manni/pedi before the trip. But if you go the massage route you might want to go after as a great way to relax after, as many people say when they get home from Disney that they need a vacation from there vacation.

That's probably a fantastic idea, lol! Knowing my mom once we get there she's going to complain that she regrets not making a spa appointment but then will say she couldn't have because she doesn't like spending time away from the family ;)

I agree, I really loved those ideas and they won't break the bank! Unfortunately I am lactose intolerant and can't do ice cream but my mom loves lobster so I was thinking maybe we could share a nice lobster at one of the restaurants we go to!

And if you don't get to a fancy resturant for a lobster meal...don't forget the Boardwalk Bakery. They have an amazing Lobster Roll.

You are such a dear sweet child. My ds a little younger than you and also on a tight budget made us all tie dye Mickey T shirts for our upcoming trip. He found directions on youtube and printed coupons for the supplies. It was a very easy project and so cute
