I have seen the light

This is my version of 'light'...always a must do at Tangerine Cafe...

Although it's probably not considered light by most, for me it would be a basic counter service meal, either a burger or something like a fried shrimp meal from Columbia Harbor House, since most of my dinners are bigger than that at table service locations.

Alternatively, at times I opt for a lighter breakfast if I have a big meal the night before. I usually go for a fruit bowl in this case, with it not sitting on my stomach like a brick and receiving a good amount of energy to start the day as well. It's a good way to go about for lunch too.

I also agree with EnchantedKnight that a basic counter service is considered light.

A light meal for me in terms of breakfast is a cinnamon roll. It is great for someone that has a table service for lunch.

Dole Whip is one of my favorite light snacks.
