I have had guests who think I am a cast member :)

Wearing an actual Cast Member name tag in the parks when you're no longer in their employ is a good way to get yourself escorted from the park and charged with trespassing. A lifetime ban might be thrown in for good measure.

I would recommend against it.

:lol:Ok, so I wouldn't actually do it, but that thought still didn't cross my mind. Thanks for reminding me, though, the temptation is gone now!

Has anything like this ever actually happened to anyone? Seems a little harsh.

We were in BCV and there was a guest who wanted to know what there was to do on Halloween for their kids since the MNSSHP was sold out. The CM at the conceirge desk told the dad that he really didn't know what else was offered. I just said excuse me - the dad was right in front of me - and told him about the party at BW, trick or treating at DTD, the haunted carriage ride at the campgrounds and a couple of little other things. The dad was was appreciative and the cast member just said "you certainly earned your ears today!"

i used to be a CM and when i go back i usually help confused guest which makes them believe im a CM. I occasionally tell guest back stories or haunted stories about some of the rides while waiting in line. they seem to get a kick out of it.
