the negativity does get to be a bit much. Life is too short to hate a ride...I hate white bathing suits made for guys. Bought one once b/c it was the only one left at Steve and Barry's (it was late July so the winter coats were out on the racks) thinking that they surely would not make it see-through when wet. Grrrr...

That was a fun day at the water park.

:ROFLOL: :ROFLOL: :ROFLOL:

I'm STILL laughing !

I hate this thread so much I'm going to start a thread called "I hate threads that hate other threads for hating things." Not only that, but I'm going to ask that every thread I hate be locked. This will include my own thread, because I hate when people open threads that proclaim that they hate things. In fact, I hate what I've just written, too, so I'm going to ask that my post be locked so only the hateful can see it.

Agreeing with the hatred that I am using along with you for agreeing with your hatred of all other hatred threads, I am expressing my hatred by requesting that all hatred threads be locked:rolleyes: I'm confusing myself:veryconfu

Ok i love reading other people's opinions on wdw but i really do hate your stupid i hate soarin or everest threads. you know that once a thread comes out people are gonna be all over u on it so please stop making them.

I am sorry should we go back to the same old "What attraction that they have removed should they bring back?" or the all time fav "What do you think the 5th theme park should be like?"

I think posting something that actaully gets people talking is a good thing. Yes I knew as soon as I started my thread I would get some attacks, but I knew the post was dangerous when I started it.

I will never make that mistake again! I had a pair of light yellow swimshorts for a day...I assumed that they would be opaque...

I hate the hating haters' hate mail that screams about how much they hate things, yet they don't have a legitimate reason to hate what they hate for hate-worthy purposes.*

*but legitimate complaints, like maintenance and such, should be addressed.

To ensure that this thread stays on topic and stops being a mess, I must say that I agree with Rockin Roller. I also despise these "I hate (insert attraction's name here)" threads.

Why does everyone always have to be so negative? I know that there are alot of things that people may or may not like. The great thing is that everyone is entitled to have their own opinion. However, it has gotten to a point where I can't read a thread without some sort of argument breaking out or hearing people complain about a particular ride. Walt Disney didn't create Disney World so people would continuously argue about it, it is supposed to be something that brings joy and happiness to everyone. By constantly attacking Disney in various threads you are going against everything that Disney stands for. I love Disney and it makes me sick to see how some people have no appreciation for it. Everyone always focuses on the negative without ever looking at all the positives about Disney. Even before rides open people already criticize them without even knowing what they are going to be like. Think about all the other problems in the world, is it really worth arguing about Disney?

Well put, why do people need to publicly express the minor faults and their opinions that seem like all that they will do is casue an argument.

Because we're not all Stepford Wives, Pollyannas, and Yes Men. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and should be allowed to express it on these boards without others getting all up in arms about how they can't just love everything. If we did nothing on these boards but sit around and say,
"I love Soarin'."
"Me too."
"That's great."
"I know. Isn't it?"
"Yes, it's great. You know, I love Soarin', too."
"You don't say. That's peachy keen, jelly bean."
"Golly, Beav, it sure is."
I know I, for one, would not be interested. It takes freedom of expression to see that there are alternative viewpoints out there. And if no one points out the faults, even the minor ones, it's entirely possible things could continue to "erode."

Talking about different things is good and that's why were here isn't it? The problem that I have isn't really with your thread it is with the 5 or 6 others that have been started since then. Hate is a pretty intense feeling to have about a ride - just doesn't seem worth the time and stress to hate rides at a theme park.

One little mark of punctuation
is at the end of all creation.
Right at the start of every sentence new,
a capital is there for you.

Oh, punctuation!
Oh, punctuation!
One dot can change the forum's pace,
with just that mark, in the right place!

Now, everyone sing that to the tune of "One Little Spark" and have a nice evening. :)

Where exactly are these "5 or 6 others" that you keep referring to??
