I hate Guitar Hero

I hate Guitar Hero. The feeling of playing that game makes me feel very uncomfortable, the keys are repetitive, and I hate the quasi-satanic theme. I don't like most of the songs, and the game is very hard for me.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Er, I must have missed the bit where it became compulsory to play games you don't like. Playing it makes you uncomfortable? - There seems a reasonably simple answer to me.

Yeah I agree that I don't know why you felt the need to keep playing, if you hate it? Put it down and do something else, it's meant to be fun. If you suck at it, it's probably not for you. :)

Great game, though a full band set-up of Rock Band with some friends is more fun. Don't get the OP's animosity towards it, but to each his own.

On a side note, I like the satanic aspect (whatever that is). :lookaroun

Perhaps it's parental pressure.

And no, it is definitely not that.

Let me attempt to explain this better:

When I buy this game, I am usually not the one playing it. Other members of my family love to play that game, but I do not. I see and hear all of the graphics (one of the computers is right by the PS2). The only time I do play it is when I have the urge to play Slow Ride or More than a Feeling. Other than that, I do not like the game. Sure, there is egging on by other members of my family, but still it i not compulsory at all, and I am writing from what I see and hear from the game.

Hope this clears things up.

If I can give any advice, as the parent of 2 that are really good at this game.. I can keep up now, only by looking aheadat the notes and have even beat the kids (ok... so only a few times :brick:) but I have to say, when compared to Rock Band and the fact that they make me sing on hard to get more points.... LOL I prefer Guitar Hero! :fork:

The first one I ever played was Guitar Hero III. I can barely beat anything on Hard in that game. I can beat lots of songs on Expert in Rock band (both guitar and bass.)
Rock Band is, therefore, much easier. :D Science proved it.

Also, I am so in love with these games.
