I had a dream...

I know the title is a bit cliche, but I really did. I was actually talking to Walt Disney himself. I am not sure how that could ever be possible, cause I never met the man. He was talking about the recent slew of movies and told me he was unimpressed with the art but loved the technology. He told me that the area in Orland is not at all what he wanted. He thought Epcot was interesting but it wasn't at all what it was all about, not even when it opened. The entire point of the area was missed with the build out as it is today. He truly did not want another park. He started to explain how it could still be built out with the existing parks of today and then I woke up.

I know this is just a manifestation of my own subconscious, but it was very intriguing to be able to speak to the man, albeit in my dreams. I suspect that some of what came out here is based on my frustration of the lack of investment in the parks by the Disney Company today.

For what it's worth, I absolutely love Epcot and even more so Epcot Center. I am not so sure I would be as eager to live in the original concept of Walt's Epcot.

That's a cool Disney dream. I always have ones where it's the day we're leaving and I never went to any of the parks. It's an awful Disney dream (suppose that's called a nightmare o_O)

Nice dream. Not to sound morbid or anything, But I've had dreams involving people that have already passed on. None of them with Walt Disney involved. But I've also been to alternate versions of WDW as well.

I think that is a pretty cool dream. I would love to talk to Walt in my dreams.

I dream about WDW all of the time. We used to have a thread here about it where we talked about our odd Disney dreams.

In that case, I will share my funniest one for those who weren't around at that time.

This was an actual dream/nightmare I had once.
I was boarding RnR in Disneyland Paris. The music . . . was Celine Dion. :hurl:

In the dream, I was thinking 'well, she speaks French, so this makes sense'. :hammer:

Funny! I have to say my dream with Walt was very vivid. It was strange since I had never met the man. I have read two books on his biography and have seen countless videos and pictures of him, so I suppose I could have painted a detailed picture in my head. Then again, I was born in 1971 so I could be his reincarnation (maybe it takes five years of paperwork up there to come back down as someone else).

I have the same dreams, or we are in Orlando driving by but can't stop @ WDW :( I don't think I've actually had a dream where I was in one of the parks...

I often wonder what Walt Disney would think of what everything is like today (movies, parks, merchandise, etc) Cool dream!
