Woo Hoo!

:sohappy:

This is my first time using m.e. and i'm a little nervous.

i'm only using m.e. for my plane ride home, not my arrival.

i was reading the little booklet that has the tags, and i noticed in my flight info, it has the right airline and flight number, but for the time, it says the time my plane arrives home, not the time it leaves orlando. what's up with that? should i call them about it? or just mention it when i check in? my husband says that as long as they haev the right flight number, they'll know what to do.

but, besides that,

WOO HOO!

If you're only using ME leaving Disney... You don't need the tags :veryconfu

I'd suggest you call ME and confirm your departing flight info and advise that you won't be using them on the way there [Just an aside: Why not?].

I'm not sure exactly how they operate, but they might not think you're returning with them if they didn't register you on arrival? I would check. If you can "check-in" with them by phone once you're there, you'll probably be fine.

The # is 1-866-599-0951. The operator should be able to tell you exactly how it works. I'd hate to see you not get a ride out...

EDIT: By the way... Have a GREAT time! [I'm jealous!]

It was not a big deal for us in February. We had the same problem, but when we called, they told us not to worry about it. Further, we got on a ME bus about two hours before our scheduled time without any problem, and it was a good thing....the security line at MCO is fricken ridiculous.

Disney issues their return-flight information from the computer based on your flight number, not on the time. You will have a nice envelope hanging on your doorknob the night before you return. They sent the luggage tags assuming you are using it on the way to the resort - most people want to use the service TO the resort as well as on the way home. When you leave, you can either stop in early at your hotel airline reservation desk - and they will check you and your baggage in, complete with boarding passes -- or you can bypass the checkin, bring your own bags with you, and checkin at the airport. The checkin process at the airport is quick. The Security lines after check in can reach an hourand a half in the morning rush. During morning hours, ME will pick you up THREE HOURS before your flight. In the afternoon and evening, they pick you up about two hours before your flight. Note that the airline reservation people at the resorts work from 5 am to 1 pm.

They sent you the tags because you will need the ticket that is located on the6th page of your booklet for your return trip!!! Hope this helps!! Belle

I was just looking over my stuff, and my departing time is 7:29 pm, but that's when my plane is scheduled to land in Philly, I leave Orlando at 5:15pm. I am going to call, just to be on the safe side.
24 more days to go:sohappy:
