I was going through old boxes in the basement when I discovered a yellow WDW bag from 1999. When I opened it I found paper candy (you can eat the inner wrapper).

1. Should I try to eat them?
2. Had anything like this happened to you?

Of course you should eat it. It's only 10 years old.

In fact, I can't think of a single reason why you shouldn't eat the 10 year old candy you just found in an old dusty brown box buried in your basement.

Shesh, it's ten years old, it's collectible; stick it on your Disney souvenirs shelf (it's got story).

This has happened to me

Me and my girlfriend stayed in Pop Century last summer during the week of July 4th, well we are now preparing for a return trip this summer, we were searching through are stuff from last year and found a half eaten bag of cotton candy!

I ate some, and lived to tell this tale, but I guess it was not ten years old.

Interesting. In general, I would eat 10y/o candy over cotton candy that was almost a year old.

When I saw the title, for some reason, I actually thought of THIS surprise! Discretion is advised because it WILL induce nightmares of a certain vegetable from the 60s!!!!! :dazzle::dazzle::zipit::zipit:

1. In reality, you should. It must still have a taste after a decade!
2. No, but I do come across old WDW artifacts in my house every now and then.

try it. most candy is made purely of sugar, and it preserves it. haha...

i had a teacher who used to tell us how you could leave a twinkie in a cabinet for 100 years, come back to it and eat it because all of the sugar it in prevents it from decomposing. yum...:lookaroun
