I got an amazing pin offer in the mail with a wonderful rate. I bit the dust an hour ago and booked 5 nights at the All Star Sports Resort for $72 per night in mid August. I went with the room only rate and will renew my AP for another year as it will expire before my trip - the difference between the ticket in a package and renewal was only $248 so that was a no brainer. Now I need to lose 20lbs between now and August 10th so I can gain it all back at Ohana :) OMG I AM GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!!!!! Why do they torture me like this.

Yes :) I may give BOG a try for lunch this time around. I want to expand my palate options this trip.

We had lunch at BOG on our last trip in November. BEAUTIFUL place!! Wow did Disney nail it on this place!! Lunch was good too! French Onion soup was delish!! Gray stuff cup cake - AH-MAZING. Only issue we had was with the kids meal - my son LOVES cheese and they couldn't/wouldn't add cheese to his turkey sandwich. Aside from that we had a wonderful time! You will enjoy it!! I somehow got a reservation for our upcoming trip in Oct for dinner - and it was way after the 180 mark!

YAY!! What a great rate! Don't feel bad about feeling fooled into another trip - Disney has taken lots of our money, and I'm always happy to hand it over - since I know what I get in return! Have a blast with the planning!

Do you seat yourself during lunch or do they seat you? I am going for the French onion soup and roast beef and fries. I am excited :) do you sit in the dinner area during lunch or is there a different area not inside for lunch?

You can sit wherever you'd like. At lunch all 3 dining rooms are open; the portrait gallery is only open at lunch.

I fell for it again :) I just extended my vacation by one day to August 9th (using my pin code). I just booked the first flight out of Indianapolis at 5:30am arriving into Orlando at 745am :D That means I will have an entire extra day and night at disneyworld :angelic:

This trip I am expanding my palate - I am going to try Yak & Yeti at AK using my AP discount; Prime Time Cafe (worried about being solo here though as i've read about the antics but I will be a sport); Trails End Buffet for lunch or early dinner; and the Plaza at MK. And of course the usual helping of Ohana.

Haha, it just keeps getting better!
Yak & Yeti is pretty good. Get the duck! :p
And oh my gosh...the food at 50's Prime Time will consume your mind that you won't even notice the shenanigans going on around you. ;)

Yea I have read the food is amazing at Prime Time. I am not sure why i've never tried it before. I saw they have a sampler platter of meatloaf, fried chicken, and roast beef with mashed potatoes that looks absolutely amazing. And I hear their shakes are out of this world as well. Yak & Yeti looks pretty good - I think I may do a light lunch there on my AK day to get away from the heat.

Indeed they do! I posted a pic of it here: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/wdw-food-pictures-of-the-day-part-ii.634200/page-233#post-6085177
The milkshakes just add to the authentic awesomeness of the meal, those they are quite the fillers and I can't wash down pot roast and fried chicken with it all the time, so get water too haha ;)

WOW that just did the trick for me :) I am going to make an ADR for my 1st night around 7pm then head to Fantasmic! afterwards. Do you know if they give you whatever they choose for the fried chicken piece or do they ask you what kind of chicken you want - I prefer a breast.
