I got the email bright and early this morning about Free Dining. So, what do I do? Well, apparently along with everyone else in the world, I call Disney this morning to apply the promotion. I called twice and got a message that all lines were busy. I called back and have now been on hold 3 different times, each over 20 minutes - now I'm on hold again and am fast approaching the 30 minute mark. The only reason I don't mind is I feel like I'm there when they play the music ("Americaaaaa Spread your golden wings...)
But...I feel so sorry for anyone who is trying to make dining reservations today! I've never thought of this before, but maybe, for their sake, dining reservations are a separate answering service? I'd be so mad right now if I was trying to make dining reservations and couldn't get through!
