Yeah. You may think the four sets are rotating clockwise and you're stationary. Nope. It's the other way around. The four sets are stationary and you're rotating counterclockwise. Because it's a moving attraction, you have to remain seated for the duration of the show.

Oh I figured that out once we were in there. haha. I was pretty stressed the entire time, and I was pretty sure you could not get off. Won't be doing that one again!

Although both carousels were retrofitted with breakaway walls, it's never a bad idea to be too safe.

I watched an online video recently of a fight that broke out in line for Test Track. Pretty hilarious actually. Just sad if any little kids were in line. There was a girl in a goofy hat and she got in a fight with someone. Not sure what went down. Way to kill the Disney vibe. It is titled "Fight Between Three Women at Disney." It now says that because it is inappropriate for younger folks, you have to sign in to view it. It really is not that bad, just stupid! I am a big fan of COP. Love the older Disney things. Sorry to see many things go.

In situations like this I wish disney security came escorted them out of the attraction. This is a situation where the "guest is right" but had I been in this showing I would have been livid!

I do have to say, sadly, I am one of those people that have bolted mid-show. My 4 year old daughter got through scene two and started doing the "I really have to go potty" dance, and to my horror, it was the only option. That or add another stain to those poor seats. I got a stern talking to by the CM, which we deserved, before dashing to the nearest toilet we could quickly find - which was ALMOST too far away. After that experience, before EVERY ride or line it was potty time.

As a heads up, my daughter to this day is disappointed she and I didn't finish the show that time, but my wife was so embarrassed she made us leave Tomorrowland. We're planning on returning next summer, so I'm sure we'll catch the COP, only after a nice stop in the restrooms first.

I always hear these horror stories about having horrible times on CoP, but it never ever happens to me. The only bad thing I experience there is the diminished show quality, but that's for another thread.

It's not like Pirates of the Carribean broke down and the pirates ate the tourists.

When we were watching the show back in August there was a grown man in front of us who chose to put his bare feet up on the seat back in front of him. His young son then followed suit. That's just sick anywhere you go.

...He is "SHHHED" by numerous people several times. My genteel wife who hates confrontation even turned around and said "Dude! Stop Talking!" and he continues speaking to girlfriend/wife. Finally another spanish speaking younger guy yells in spanish basically for him to shut the **** up hahaha so we get the final scene completely free of talking.

Oh wow, I'd have given $20 to see that lol.

Nothing beats sitting behind an entire row of the Brazilian teen tour group in July at Lion King and one of them continues to talk loudly on his cell phone the first 5 minutes of the show. That's when I tried to remember how to say, "will you turn off your phone and SHUT THE **** UP!" in Spanish... then remembered they speak Portuguese in Brazil, duh. So I tapped him on the shoulder and said, "turn off your d*** phone and stop talking" in the sweetest voice possible. I'm sure he understood my English.
