Can you believe I threw away a 40% discount offer for WDW resorts (with pin code) which included Dec. dates ??? I received it in the mail after signing up for a vacation packet. I didn't really anticipate going to WDW on the dates offered, so I chucked it, thinking that I can always get a similar offer online. Ya, right. Now I want to go to WDW this fall/winter and I learn that these offers are "special" and not readily available. :brick:

I am ready to go to the landfill.

No need to go to the landfill...

Call up WDW directly and tell them that you received and inadvertently threw away a pin number offer. If it wasn't mailed too long ago, they should have a record of the pin number associated with the name of the person in your home who received it, and you should be able to take advantage of it.
Fingers crossed for you!

I agree. I think Disney stores the pin codes under your name. When I got our 40% off pin code, I called Disney, read the CM the code and they had it already in my "profile." Try calling, good luck! Let us know the outcome.

If the PIN is still bookable (before the "book by ___" date) it should be still attached to your name in the computer system. Call! But then you have to come back and tell us that you go the discount. :animwink:

FYI that 40% pin expires on 7/10 so you'd want to call ASAP. Here are the dates that were listed on mine
for stays most nights during these select weeks 9/1–10/9/10 • 10/24–10/30/10 • 11/14–11/20/10
11/28–12/4/10 • 12/12–12/18/10

We got the same one as well and they were able to look it up with our name, phone number and e-mail address. Do hurry though, because it expires very soon!!!

Thanks Guys,

OK, I called. Was on the phone for 1 hr and 5 mins. WDW couldn't find me in the system for the first 1/2. Then, they tried building me a package, suggesting that I commit. They said it was 40% off, but there is no way. It was less than 30% off. They would not give a pin # and said the only way I could arrange it in the future (If I did not commit tonight) was to go through the same process. I didn't bite. I would have, if 40% = 40%, but not when 40% = 28%. I'll hold out for a better deal.

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. Did you ask to speak to a manager? So they at least located the pin code associated with your name? Our pin code was for 40% off deluxe and it went down from there. There's got to be a way for this to work properly.

Agreed. WDW is worth a second call. I've been on the phone with CMs before who didn't know what they were talking about so I hung up and called back. Second go around I got someone who could help. Give it another shot. If the pin was for you then it should be associated with your name in the system. And you have to be in their system if they emailed you. Right?

Definitely call back - when I booked my trip, I also booked a room for my parents. The agent on the phone confirmed my pin, and then looked up my parents record and saw they did not receive a pin code, but since we were part of the same reservation they gave them the same deal (40% off in December). If an agent can see that someone did not receive a code, they should be able to see that you did receive one. GOOD LUCK!!

I just booked two rooms using my pin code only. One for us and one for DD and her fiance, I got two reservation numbers but both rooms are discounted. I too was on hold for 90 plus minutes but it was worth it. I called earlier (June) and all I could get was a preferred room, today I got standard rooms. Maybe that is the differnce you are talking about? My rate would have been higher if I had booked the preferred rooms simply because they cost more. Call again, but hurry, I think they pin code expires soon.
