How is Mickey a "short term gain"? Mickey Mouse is the 90 year old flagship character of The Walt Disney Company. It's not exactly a flash-in-the-pan. It's not like they're building Fortnite: The Ride.

As in, the actual construction.

It would take longer to build a new structure from scratch or demo something like Launch Bay first.

I don't think we can answer this question until after riding MM:RR. The ride maybe fantastic and worthy of the park. We don't know.

As for the hat? I'm glad its gone.

I would rather have had GMR. I don't mind Runaway Railway and am actually excited for it, but it should've been built over in Animation Courtyard. GMR not only was a great ride and the centerpiece of the park's theme, but also the last piece of opening day DHS, and it should've been left alone.
