Hypothetical Disney Magical Express Question

I'm going to be visiting family in the Orlando area and am looking to incorporate a quick three nights in Disney into it. I am going to rent a car for visiting family, but I do not really need the car while in Disney.

Could I use DME when I arrive, and then basically just say I'm on a particular flight out the day we'd be heading to see family, and use DME to get back to the airport so I could rent a car?

Trying to just save myself $80 if possible.

Thanks

(Question 2: if we did rent a car for Disney, we're going to be getting breakfast one morning at Chef Mickey's, could we park at Contemporary for Breakfast, and then basically leave the car there for the day and grab it at night after doing MK for the evening?)

Thanks!

Whew - two slightly ethical questions. Everyone will have an opinion I'm sure, but Ill give my 2 cents.
The answer to the first question is 'Yes, you can pick a random flight number & ride the ME back to MCO. Is it bending the 'rules?' Sure, but that is all up to you. Keep in mind that ME will want you on the bus 3 hours before your pretend flight time, so if you want to sleep in, don't pick a 9 am flight number!

Question 2: Could you park at the Contrmporary all day - technically, if you are dining at a Contemporary resturant, you are only allowed to park there for 2 hours (they give you a pass when you arrive at the gate.) But, Disney has the right to tow you after that 2 hour limit, and there are many in these boards who have seen Disney tow from Contemporary, Poly, GF parking lots. But there are also many who have done just what you are asking and had no problems. If you are there Easter/spring break/ summer, prepare to be towed as those are busy times and the lot fills fast & they monitor the lot frequently, so that hotel guests have places to park.
If you go during a slow time & are willing to take the risk of returning to the lot only to discover you have to go retrieve your towed rental car, then yes, it is possible, even if its not advisable.

There are places on Disney property you can rent a car if fits your plans.
With parking the car issue I have seen care towed from Beach Club during spring break.

Thanks for the responses!

We won't park at contemporary all day, not trying to totally bend rules, haha, just wasn't sure the policy.

It looks like there's a 6:30 am bus to magic kingdom we could just take to make our early chef mickeys ressie. Can anyone confirm that though? Thanks again!

Why don't you just rent a car at Disney and save all that hassel of going to the airport after your check out. Disney may even be cheaper being you won't have to pay the added airport fees onto the car rental.

6:30 might be pushing it. I have boarded a bus at around 6:30 am from one of the Values before (can't remember which one...) but can't be 100% sure it was exactly 6:30. The best thing to do is to ask at the Front Desk the night before - tell them you have a (fill in the time here) reservation at Chef Mickey's and you need to know what time the bus will pick you up. Every time I ask that, they tell me where to stand near bus stops and wait for the bus to arrive. Once I get on the bus the driver always asks where we are going to eat. Sometimes there are others on the bus with us, sometimes there are not.
If the bus takes too long to arrive and we start to get worried, we'll sometimes run back in to the front desk to confirm that a character breakfast bus *is* coming, but we've never had one not show up. I guess technically - especially at busy times of the year - buses never stop running at WDW.
