Human Clone To Come

I saw a CNN news story about this couple last night....They are truly frightening.....they said that god has commanded them to create a clone.
What bothers me is this is their whole basis....which is fine...i'm a religious person myself. However, they also say they will abort the baby if any birth defects are found. Now...isn't this a bit contradictory?
In my opinion, this couple has a few loose screws....Although I doubt it will happen, for the simple fact they have NO money (it'll cost thousands to do this). They said they were going to put all of it on their credit cards.
Sounds like sound judgement to me. :hammer:
I'm not for or against cloning..but I think if it IS going to be done, we need to find better subjects to try this on.

oh boy, let's not get into a fight about this!! I don't think anyone can prove anything concerning this. It has to do with personal convictions. And let me tell you, you can't change people's mind easily. SOOOO, back to the cloning thing... What kinda freaky people are they??? I mean, the poor kid if this happens. As I remember, during childhood, a person is usually hoping to turn out not looking like their parents... hee hee :animwink:
