Just got back from the Cirque du Soleil show Quidam. I loved it! I like it more than La Nouba. It was all about dreaming. :sohappy:

**HUGGLES**

Yup! I'm being cultured. Having a salary does have some perks.

Funny convo this week.

Friend: *walks in on me reading Pride and Prejudice*
Vince: Hi
Friend: *stares at me with a funny look*
Vince: What?
Friend: What the hell is this?!
Vince: What, I can't read Pride and Prejudice?
Friend: First, the Lion King: the Broadway show... and now this?
Vince: I'm trying to be cultured!
Friend: Ooooh, look at me, I'm Vince, I'm cultured.
Vince: Hmph!

Ooooh...P&P :sohappy:

You need to watch the movie...NOT the Keira Knightley version. If you miss some stuff in the book, the Colin Firth version will clear anything up :D

Oh...*huggles* :lookaroun

Glad you had fun :)

This from the person who told me it was better to read Harry Potter, instead of watching it. (Though I must admit, Harry Potter is much easier to read than Pride & Prejudice. *reads 5 pages* Ok, what the hell just happened? :lookaroun )

Ehh...maybe :lookaroun

And it's not that hard to follow

Yes it is. They spend a whole page saying what they could say in a sentence but they fluff it up with big words and proper grammar. :lookaroun

I've only been able to read the first few chapters. What I've gotten out of it so far... Mr. Darcy is a stuck-up jerk who doesn't like Lizzy. Also, all women seemed to do back in the day is sit around and talk about marrying rich men.

I think you've got it covered. Lizzy and Jane are the only ones though who don't want to marry for financial interests. And you'll love Mr. Darcy eventually :lookaroun
