My only concern (as it always is with these trips) is the dogs. We've left Lally alone already and someone has come over to take her out in the backyard twice a day. But now Lilo is in the picture. She'll be almost 8 months when we go but it'll be the first time she'll be "alone" without people for so long. Will she be okay anyway as long as Lally is there and someone comes over 3 times a day to take them out. My sister's friend lives right by us and could come over.
Yeah...we've got a few options as to who can come over and hang out with them for a bit. She is a chewer actually, but it's getting better by the day. She just chews a few things still, especially if she doesn't have her food. One time we left her completely by herself for about an hour and she was whining when we came back. But we've left her with Lally for 6-7-8 hours at a time and she's been fine with it. So yeah, the best option is to get someone to come over and I think we can do that.figmentmom said:If you have a reliable dog-sitter who's willing to come over and walk the dogs, play with them a bit, replenish their water, etc., they'll probably be OK. If she's a chewer, just make sure there's nothing around that she could potentially swallow (our dog likes to chew when she's bored and/or lonely). She's got a companion, though, so she should be fine.
Ever had a fried twinkie? I haven't but I've heard they are good.speck76 said:you have no idea what you are missing
If you eat enough, when you die, your body stays perfectly preserved for over 100 years....and develops a slight banana smell....and cream filling :lookaroun
