The person that broke into my car was just trying to get their hands on whatever they can get. My portfolio was an easy grab.

I didn't have all my work in the portfolio (thank goodness). I'll work on some sketches later on tonight. The good thing is I have a lot of the designs in my head.

That sucks big time! Sorry to hear it. Over here it's a wise idea to leave nothing in the car - not even a discarded grocery bag and to keep the glove box open when you park up as barstewards are everywhere. It still did not stop me losing a side window. They did not steal anything as there was nothing to steal and I had a crappy car stereo that was not worth stealing so even that stayed in place. I now have one of those stereo jobs with a removable plate.

Oh, no!!! Was your portfolio completely irreplaceable? I sure hope the police find whoever broke into your car...

Well, it looks like this is all kinda blown over by now, but I wanted to add some huggles to the bunch. That's terrible...you seem to be taking it in stride, though, so props to you. (Hope those glasses are optional.)

When did birthdays become a day to fear rather than enjoy? :lol: My birthday's at the end of this month and only recently did I realize that. In previous years, I would be counting down the days from October. But now it's like "Gah! Get it away from me!" It's no longer a day where everyone is nice to you and you get presents. I'm now seeing it as a sign that more time is passing me by. When did turning 23 feel so old? :lol:
