I'm actually planning on living with my sister for a few months next fall...I'll see how that goes. If I do, I'll have to drop into London to watch the famous Jerry Springer Opera.

It's a comfort to read that you have been able to keep in contact and a close relationship with your family living a far distance from each other.

My sister met her now husband in Portugal. He is from Boston Ma, and she English. They kept up a long distance relationship for a year before she ended up in America. This was in pre-internet days, when all they had was the odd expensive phone call (My Brother in law kept getting the time difference wrong, thinking he was five hours ahead rather than behind of UK time, so calls at five in the AM were not unheard of) as well as letters and audio tapes.

The problem was my mom lived in Mexico, so their relationship was based on phone calls and letters. My dad no longer could live without being near my mom, so he flew to mexico, asked for her hand in marriage and 32 years later they are still in love with each other.

It was actually kind of fun to be honest with you. The people that annoy me decided at the last minute not to show up. So overall, I had a good time. Don't get me started about the outhouse though. :zipit:
