Can I join the group, Christy and Mad? MY firstborn is gainfully employed AND engaged...all good things, but when did she grow up?!?

Sniff...and huggles!

Oh come on...now that she is out of the house, you are having the time of your life....

Growing up, my parents never went out too much, but now that we are all grown and gone (I am the youngest at 28) I can never get ahold of them....they have a better social life than I do:(

Binky= pacifier. Those things that babies s.u.c.k on.

We called them "nookies"

Well, some nookie would be better than a binky, and would blow away a huggle:D

It's quarter past one in the ay-em and I'm back at my PC because I can't sleep due to this damn cold that snuck up on me. Figured I'd catch some good huggle vibes to lull me off to sleep :D

It means that too. But in context you cant quite picture a paent shoving an idiot into a baby's mouth. :D

On the subject of the term dummy to mean idiot, I like the word "Pillock" in this context. Is it used over there?

Never heard it. I just looked it up...U.K. an offensive term for a person who is regarded as behaving in a thoughtless or unintelligent way ( slang insult )

It's offensive in the same way that calling someone a dummy is, rather than offensive in a four letter word way.

Oy, my DL trip has just suffered another setback. A month ago when I first heard I was going to DL, I checked the price of flights. I found tons of nonstop roundtrip flights from Philly to LA for only $188. I wanted to buy them then but my mom told me not to. According to her, it was too early. That was a mistake. And now, that mistake could do serious damage to my DL trip. I checked the flights again tonight, all those flights are now gone and the prices have risen dramatically. This is a problem. :brick:
