Is it wrong that going to Babies R Us made me want a baby? :lookaroun
This is direct from another thread so sorry Mad, Mary, etc :lol:
Went to Babies R Us to get presents for my cousin's baby shower on Saturday. Someone today bought the high chair my mom wanted to get as well as a lamp she wanted to get for my grandma. And as we're looking at bedding stuff, my cousin snuck up behind us :lol: She ran away though because she wants to keep everything a surprise. We did get a hint from her mom, being that she is obsessed with the decor she picked out, so we sorta went with that. Plus, that stuff is being discontinued so 15% off
I got her a honeybee clock and a pack of receiving blankets. My mom got a shelf and a photo frame for my grandma, and a cradle swing for herself.

Actually...my mom was getting annoyed with the whole thing. She thinks women these days ask for alot of ridiculous things as opposed to practical things. For example, last baby shower was for my 18 year old cousin's girlfriendtigsmom said:

I always get a practical gift and then something fun. I never asked for anything, just gratefully accepted whatever came my way.

Well we got the clock and the frame because it goes with the decor of the room, so that's good and she wants it. But some people either ask too much of one thing or they ask for things not really necessary :lol:tigsmom said:
