Huge Crowds

I have had lots of reports of HUGE crowds over the past few days. So much so that at the TTC, they have used Cruise Line buses to take people to the MK, as the ferry and monorail were not coping with the volume of people.

Here is a photo sent to me of the waits at Epcot. At 8:05am on the early entry, Test Track was running at 3 hours standby time, queing in the breezeway area.

Holy Cow!! As a guest who only goes to WDW in the low low low seasons, that is EXTREMELY shocking! Good, though, I suppose... attendance is up! :sohappy:

That's insane! I know it's always VERY busy once April hits, but I haven't seen it like that, that early in the day. Hopefully it means that the economy is finally getting stronger.

Love SSE

SSE is great as the line never takes too long. I would think now with BW closed the volumes are higher on E ticket rides. I was there in Dec 03 X-mas week and never saw a wait time over 2hours.

Yup, that looks about right and what I remember during many Easter vacations...and what I look forward to for the third time this Christmas. :veryconfu

SE shows the great queue swallowing capacity of the Omnimover - it may not be the number one ride, but the queue keeps moving. Or was it a display error - shouldn`t it say `0 minutes` if the system is receiving queue data?

since the Magic Kingdom is open 8 am to 11 pm every day next week, I would not bet on crowds any smaller than they are this week...

Wonders of Strife

Wonders of Life is open again? When did this happen? Is this just for the heavy crowds, only to close again after Easter tourist season?

Crowds are out of control. My sister (egionet) is working in Fantasyland right now and said she has been spending most of her time directing traffic by the old skyway station into and out of Liberty Square. She says it is a zoo. She has never seen it so busy.

It's good to see they opened up WoL during peak times. Although 5 min. wait at Cranium Command shows why this pavilion needs a overhaul. You would think WoL would get the overflow from MS & TT. Is the whole pavilion open?

Eisner is going to be staying now if they keep this up......

Last year we went the first week of May and all the rides were "open" there was NO waiting for anything. Nice to see this....

EPCOT has been SO busy!!! The fastpass line for test track was almost to the breezeway. As for Wonders of Life, it will be open till the 17th.

It's nuts here right now.
