Huge Crowds

we just got back from a day trip yesterday. The crowds at MGM were amazing! when we walked in (about 330 or so) there was just a SEA of people. epcot though was pretty open. Granted, we didn't ride anything, but WS and FW didn't seem too very packed and we were able to get seating at Alfredo's without a PS and only a very small wait for dinner.

Strangely, Last night for Wishes was sorta dead for this time of year. Average to smaller size crowd. Nowhere near the sheer chaos of Monday & Tuesday nights.

This past Monday (April 5) has been the most crowded day for Animal Kingdom. The park was closed that day, as well as yesterday.

On monday the park was so crowded that:

*Kilimanjaro Safari ran out of fastpass by 10 AM.

*The line for Festival of the Lion King stretched over Camp Minnie Mickey bridge and an extra show was added.

*The Boneyard was filled to capacity and there was a wait to enter.

Magic Kingdom has been so busy that extra signage was brought in to alert guests when the park closed.

I've been told that restaurants at Magic Kingdom were so busy that the doors were closed and guests could only enter if a table cleared or if their meal was to go.

Next week is expected to be slightly less crowded, but don't expect anything significant.

Are you sure about that? I got a fastpass for it on monday at 9:10am or so for a return of 11:25. After I had gotten off the ride from using the fastpass, I was fairly sure they were still giving away fastpasses. :-\

That is insane ... I don't even know how anyone could enjoy the Boneyard. Those slides hurt. I wonder if the *real* extended queue for Dinosaur was used. I have always wanted to see it.

I had reports of single riders line at Space and TT running at 60 mins most days, all day.

Most people weren't aware of the single riders line. Me and my family were at Epcot on Wednesday (April 7) and we rode TT 3 times without ANY wait. M:S was the same except the second time there was a 15 minute wait. As I said in my trip report, if you know your way and know how to use fastpass/single rider lines, etc then it shouldn't be bad. We were actually kinda bored at Epcot cause we had done everything except Innoventions. Now MK was another story...

On Friday, that singles line at TT was 85 minutes, and 35 minutes at MS.

Then I guess we got lucky :)
The longest line we waited for that day was ...*gasp*.....Spaceship Earth. And waiting for a picture with Mickey.
