Huge Complaints Against Disney Visa Card!

Ok so I gave the customer service line a call and they fixed the problem. The woman on the line was very helpful and my visa card was credited and they took the points off of my rewards card. Thanks a lot to all of the nice helpful people. BTW to all of the ignorant meanies who say I don't know how to use a credit card or how to read instructions you need to get a clue. I read those instructions ten times over and nothing helped me out. I have two separate cards, one visa and one purple rewards card. You need to watch your toungues b4 you talk crap that you have no idea about.

Also I wanted to add that Disneydirect.com forces you to enter in your visa card number AS WELL AS your rewards card number so I guess I'm not the "dumb" one here afterall.

While I wasn't the one calling names, but defending new members I want to appolgise on behaf of WDWmagic members. We aren't really all like that. Sorry some were rude. Please give us another try. Some members here like to answer every post weather they know about it or not, and most with out reading all the info. Saddly some people have a lot more then 2 cents to put in. :lol: :animwink:

BUT not everyone is like that and there are a lot of really nice people around here. :wave:

Glad you got it worked out. Can I ask how it said your bounus points were used on your statement. I didn't think they listed them on the statement, just when they were transfered.

Thanks for the kind words. I have noticed quite a few "rude" members here and it gets quite annoying sometimes. BTW I haven't recieved my statement yet, but when I checked my reward card balance online, it stated that 25 points were used.

I didn't know we could check the bonus card points on line. I wonder if that is a new feature. Pretty cool I love my Disney Visa and they keep coming up with more and more convent features. I don't feel like they OWE me much. After all it is a non fee visa and we always pay it off so they make no money on me. :animwink:

Maybe not you, but they make money off the merchants on every purchase you make. :wave:

The reward card is a debit/credit card. She should have used that number in the place where is asked for a credit card number, not her visa card.

Wrong! If you type the reward card number in the place where it says credit card it won't work. Also if you just type in the reward number w/ out adding in a separate card it won't work. Believe me I tried it both ways. You must enter in your rewards number as well as a credit card number. Please don't speak unless you know what you are talking about. That has been there since the begining.
Go to Account summary, then in the first drop down pick Manage Rewards. From there pick View Rewards Balance and in there you can get your Rewards History. :wave:

I know I can get my rewards hx, but I didn't know it would show where we spent them. I thought it was just how many we have earned, if they were transfered to the card yet. (ours have not since we don't go until Jan and we have been saving since May 2005 when we used the $200 we had on there.)

Thats odd. I have been able to see it before. Right now it says they are unable to process my request. Wonder is Chase has changed its policy?

Though... I do wish the rewards were better than 1%

Anyway... I just used my rewards to buy my 10 day park hopper. :slurp: (took darn near 3 years though).


I have other rewards cards that are 10x's better from Chase (compared to Disney's)... like my Southwest Airlines rewards card... heck... all I need is 2 more points and I get a free round trip ticket.
